Had in honor of Prince -- shame it wasn’t as good as his music...

Pours a slightly hazy amber with a huge head of white foam. Nice tart, tangy, sour aroma. Taste is watery and thin. Smells much better than it tastes.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane’s Beer and Wine. Aroma is light biscuit malts, hint of fruit? Appearance is cloudy light orange with light green/yellow at tops and bottom, light reddish/purple hue, trace sparkle, small bits of berry in there as advertised, no head but thin white ring and trace lacing. Taste is mix of sweet and tart berry over pilsner malt base, not entirely harmoniously. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture and soft to average carbonation, dry slightly bitter finish. Overall, as advertised--a subtle coloration, fruity aroma and tartly sweet taste. This is pretty weak all around.

weordie (1468) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2016
Pours a cloudy red orange that has a purple haze if you hold it up to the sun. A lovely raspberry aroma. The taste is like a raspberry ice lolly with a bit of a lager finish. It’s a love it or hate it beer and I love it.

This stuff is gross. It’s not even good enough to be called alcopop. It tastes like watered-down rotten raspberry juice, weird bitterness, and a gross beer-like taste. It’s the only "beer" I’ve truly hated. I would never get this again.

Bottle 0,33l. Pours a cloudy red orange colour. Aroma of raspberries, light malt and a touch of caramel. Taste of raspberries, sweet malt. Palate is light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Shared 12 oz. bottle. Cloudy gold color with minimal white head. Dark sediment floating around in the glass which slowly settles at the bottom. Presumably raspberry pulp, at least that is the hope! Faint aroma of red berries and not much else. Taste might be simulated by filling half a glass with a low quality wheat beer, adding an equal portion of murky swamp water, and then mixing in the pulp/juice of one-eighth of one raspberry. Weak wheat and weak raspberry profiles. Not good.

darbeer75 (1112) - Round Rock, Texas, USA - DEC 31, 2015
Aroma: strong raspberry scent with grape juice undertones; I’m scared; Appearance: hazy straw with thin head that disappears quickly; Taste: not as fruity as the smell; mostly getting lager taste, like a Bud with some fruit mixed in; Palate: light-medium body with medium carbonation; Overall; not as bad as I remembered/feared, but definitely not good. Will not get again.
