Pours a light and murky amber color with a medium off-white head. Decent lacing. Aroma is raspberries of course, but really nothing else. It might have something to do with the fact that I was building a deck in almost 90 degree temperatures, but I found this to be pretty easy to drink. Light bodied and very crisp, and fortunately the raspberry flavor is not as overwhelming as it is in other beers of this type. Clean finish. Nothing award-winning in my book but a passable summer beer.

Sweet flavor, raspberry jam and toast. Kind of medicinal, not a huge fan of this.

courtesy of oh6gdx - fully cloudy orange colour with a moderate head retention; aroma of hay and raspberries, sweet with a hint of acidity; moderate malt body, gentle finish of raspberries with some residual sugars - boring

On tap. Poured a cloudy golden color with a small head. Nothing too special - aroma and tastes of raspberries and wheat. Light and bland tasting. I’ll pass on this in the future.

"an ok, but standard entry into the berry-wheat catergory. nothing new here. not bad, not good. refreshing on a hot summer day, but that’s about it."

On tap at the Peekskill Brewery. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Sweet raspberry aromas dominate the light hints of toated malt and wheat. Flavor is basically all raspberry, but watered down from the aromas from earlier. Finishes rather nondescriptly with some toasted cereal. Not my favorite, but at least it didn’t have the burnt nut aroma most of the rest of Abita’s lineup seems to have.

Bottle. Poured hazy gold with a white head. Aroma consisted of fruits and a touch of malts. Flavor had the presence of raspberries and while easy drinking, it is not complex in anyway.

12 oz bottle. BB 01/11... From a gas station in New Orleans, LA.
Hazy orange amber colour with a small white head. Pilsner malt and mild grassy bitterness in the aroma. Mild sweetness, raspberries... or some other berries and malt in a pilsnery flavour. Not very good or tasty.

Bottle. Sweet raspberry malt aroma - a bit like the sweeter lambic framboise beers. Moderately cloudy - pinkish amber color with small head. Slightly sour, light raspberry malt flavor - really expected it to be sweeter from the aroma. Very little body. Pretty weak and bland.
