This is essentially a wine cooler. The aroma is is medicinal with a hint of tart, under-ripened fruit. The appearance is reminiscent of a V-8 splash, a bit pulpy and sort of a cloudy juice color. The malt gives more wheat character than anything else, with the thin crispness of the berries at the end. I find the body much to light to support the fruitiness of the beer. Overall, better than Shock Top Raspberry but not something I will buy again.

aroma of grainy wheat with soft dried raspberry background -- flavor is some wheat, and dried raspberry - pretty simple and straightforward -- no odd fake flavors - wheat is a bit dusty, but the raspberry flavor is very well balanced, not tart - i guess theres a reason this has been around for a while...good stuff...

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with small foamy white head, malt aroma with faint berries, high carbonation, malty taste with a hint of raspberry, thin body, abrupt finish. Nothing spectacular here.

12 ounce bottle at the Winking Lizard Penisula Ohio. Kind of bland, with not much aroma. White head with film on the glass. Copper in color. Taste sweet, with apricot Well balanced. very smooth on palate with no after taste. Very drinkable beer. I could drink this all night long at a good party!

From mug so can't comment on the color. Nose is raspberry and regular malt. Raspberry with a fruity malt cocktail. Flat with light, watery body

Bottle. It poured a hazy orange color with a white head. The aroma was of raspberries, malts and some caramel. The taste was similar to the aroma with more raspberries, malts, caramel and nice carbonation with a sweet aftertaste. Not bad.

On tap at DomCraft. Clear Amber with no head. Almost completely flat. Aroma and taste are malty, red berries, grass, fruit, sugary notes and bready malts.

Bottle at the Hill Tavern, Boston. Aroma is pure raspberry. Pours murky copper with a bath foam cream head. Taste is bitter-sweet raspberry. May not be quality beer, but it's what I like to drink.

WingmanWillis (421) - Surrey, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2017
Bottle at Hill Tavern. Pours clear Amber brown with a decent white head. Aroma is grass, malts, grain and raspberry. Taste is dominated by sweet raspberry syrup, with a little grass and malt mellowing the sweetness out but not very will. Not the best.

12oz bottle at home. Hazy reddish gold with a thin white head. Citrus and muted berries, wheat, mild yeast. Fizzy carbonation. Citrusy finish. I remember this being better back in the day.
