Poured from a bottle into an icy mug. I actually really liked this, despite the fact that I hate fruity beers. Nice, light taste. Pours cloudy with a faint purple color. I didn’t notice any floating sediment in my glass. I don’t know if I’d drink more than one of these at a time, but I’ll definetly buy another single...Oberon it is not.

Pours a clear amber color with a two finger white head. The raspberries are quite noticeable in the aroma, as well as, wheat, artificial syrupy sweetness. The flavor is similar to the aroma, however that's not necessarily a good thing. I pick up artificial raspberry sweetness, wheat, and other un-appealing malts.

On tap at DomCraft. Clear Amber with no head. Almost completely flat. Aroma and taste are malty, red berries, grass, fruit, sugary notes and bready malts.

Bottle at the Hill Tavern, Boston. Aroma is pure raspberry. Pours murky copper with a bath foam cream head. Taste is bitter-sweet raspberry. May not be quality beer, but it's what I like to drink.

Bottle at Hill Tavern. Pours clear Amber brown with a decent white head. Aroma is grass, malts, grain and raspberry. Taste is dominated by sweet raspberry syrup, with a little grass and malt mellowing the sweetness out but not very will. Not the best.

12oz bottle at home. Hazy reddish gold with a thin white head. Citrus and muted berries, wheat, mild yeast. Fizzy carbonation. Citrusy finish. I remember this being better back in the day.

This was a nice light beer with a surprising red color. The taste was light with a slight bitter aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Purple Haze is a crisp, American style wheat beer with raspberry puree added after filtration. Therefore, you may see raspberry pulp in the beer. The raspberries provide the lager with a subtle purple coloration and haze, a fruity aroma, and a tartly sweet taste. Yummy pinkish colored beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
