Had this one on tap at Cooter Brown's in New Orleans. Dark color, lighter body, nice chocolate malt flavor. One of those hard to classify beers. Goes down good with raw oysters. Bon temps roulet!

Pours a nice cola brown. First thing you notice is the big tan fluffy head. Looks like a stout but drinks like the ale it is. Flavor is a combo of chocolate and coffee. No real after taste to speak of. It could use a little something on the way down. A decent brew.

Pours a deep dark amber with a great big fluffy brown head and ample lacing of the semi-sticky type. Very vague aroma, but kind of skunky in a way with a touch of cocoa in there,. Chocolate malt up front, medium-bodied smoothness but not a big tasting beer. Some more hops on the back end would have finished this off better, but not a terrible brew.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2006 Body and aroma are weak, with the roaast being the only distinguishing feature. Bitter in a dark chocolate way. Smooth.

A fine brown ale, Turbodog is a bit lacking in complexity, but it's basic choclatey flavor and aroma is quite tasty, with a nice English hops underbite.

Filtered dark brown appearance. Chocolate malt aroma. Well carbonated, nicely hopped flavor. Medium-bodied mouthfeel. Lacking in depth and complexity.

A different tasting beer from what I expected. Looks and smells like a stout, but has the taste of a Scottish are or something simular. Interesting beer.
