A highly drinkable brown ale that isn't really complex in any way, but is quite refreshing. Nice roasted malt notes of chocolate and coffee with a decent hop bitterness to balance things out. Smell was disapointingly a bit neutral. NIce looking beer but I found this one to be watery and lacking in flavor maybe some thin chocolate...not very impressive

Had this one on tap at Cooter Brown's in New Orleans. Dark color, lighter body, nice chocolate malt flavor. One of those hard to classify beers. Goes down good with raw oysters. Bon temps roulet!

Pours a nice cola brown. First thing you notice is the big tan fluffy head. Looks like a stout but drinks like the ale it is. Flavor is a combo of chocolate and coffee. Pours a deep dark amber with a great big fluffy brown head and ample lacing of the semi-sticky type.
Very vague aroma, but kind of skunky in a way with a touch of cocoa in there,.

Dark, dark brown with a tan head. Chocolatey and highly bittered and very yeasty.
