Actually served a bit too cold to make out much of the character. But still, it’s pretty good. A bit of spiciness in the tan foam make me think briefly of a Christmas ale. A general hop bitterness is apparent at the first taste, then I caught some good chocolate malt with very little astringency. Looks good, tastes good.
Sample at SBWF 2017. Brownish with a small head. Aroma of light roasted malt, bread, chocolate and some caramel. Similar taste. The body was medium.

Bottle - pours ruby with an off white head. Aroma is molasses, burnt sugar and cereal malt. Taste is sufary malt with a bit if dry roast taste in the finish.

*Bottle from Schneiders Getränke, Köln. Dark malts, molasses, still refreshing. Nice brown Ale with hints of roasted hazelnuts, round malts and a nice but smooth bitter hoppy ending. Easy to drink, deep with a full malty fruity roasted body, nice. TheCalebBedford (8) - - AUG 10, 2017 does not count

From tap at ADT. Clear reddish-brown with a froth beige head. Nose is heavy malt with hints of chocolate. Flavors are lightly roasted malt and milk chocolate, with some bread notes. Smooth texture. Semi-sweet chocolate finish.
