Bottle from Bobar: Poured a clear champagne color with a firm white cream head which will eventually fizzle down. Aroma is faint with minor whiffs of peanuts, cashews, oats, and possibly whole grain. Flavor is light cereals with a nutty taste but overall this was worth the $2 a pint size bottle especially with it being imported from Deutschland. gripweed57 (3098) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - OCT 6, 2017
500 ml bottle. Brassy gold color. Small creamy white head. Light bready malt nose. Light, sweet bready malt flavor. Smooth and refreshing. Green apple notes in middle. Brief dry finish. 17Beer (486) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 5, 2017
Pint bottle. Pour very pale gold with a bright white head that while big, goes away quickly.. Crisp malt smells with some pils notes. Bread and biscuit flavors with enough crisp hops to prevent it from being overly sweet. Brisk astringent mouthfeel and a super short dry finish. Super drinkable

Bottle from Appellation Wines Comely Bank.
Appearance - golden with a decent head and steady carbonation.
Nose - customary sweetcorn and green beans.
Taste - more green beans, some light grassiness and well balanced malt profile.
Palate - light bodied, very creamy, malty and elegant through the middle. Balanced, gradually tapered finish.
Overall - classic Helles style. Good stuff. Towey1989 (3653) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 1, 2017
Keg at The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of bready malts, butter, a hint of butterscotch and subtle herbal hops. Taste of bready malts, slight butter, subtle corn and some herbal hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A crisp, dry, but slightly buttery, herbal hop bitterness in the finish. On the plus side the hops shine through and it's got a good body with a crisp finish. Negative it's very buttery and subtley corny. Ok though overall.
