Bottle @ Dangerous bottleshare: "Vi bliver flade nu". Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of when you are baking cinnamon buns and you open the oven and they are slight burnt but still rather perfect. also some vanilla aside from that transparent cinnamon buns. straight up insane aroma . How? Taste is sweet with lots and lots of cinnamon, brown sugar and vanilla. CINNAMON. BUNS. and maybe a slight spicy chili end. This beer is driving me insane. It’s good but also disturbing. Bottle. Pours a dark brown with small tan head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is roast and dark chocolate spice. Thick body, chewy peppers spice, cocoa, boozy finish, very nice. dmac (6471) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - OCT 28, 2016
Bottle shared at Dan’s. Poured a slightly thicker deep black body under a tight foamy beige head. Aroma of cinnamon, chocolate, marshmallows, vanilla......smells like dessert. Flavor was so good it almost made me cry. Peppers, cinnamon, chocolate and vanilla all swirling around and melding together. Slightly fuller body with average carbonation. Amazing beer. koleminer20 (3978) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - OCT 27, 2016
From notes. Enjoyed at Corbet’s house during a tasting on October 24. 22 oz bottle. The pour is a light black color with a thick tan head of foam that falls down slowly with a few spots of lingering lace. The aroma is pretty good. There is a nice peppery heat up front, a good cinnamon and chocolate in the main body, and a hint of vanilla on the back end. There is a nice chocolate throughout that is smooth. The flavor is much of the same. There is a good cinnamon and chocolate, a lot of roasty malt, and a strong pepper on the back end that just seems to grow a little bit. The mouth feel is very thin and watery. There is a sharper carbonation that doesn’t go with it. The aftertaste is light and full of chocolate and pepper heat. Pretty damn good, except the mouth feel. ineedbeer (2257) - Oakland, California, USA - SEP 29, 2016
Poured from a bottle.
Aroma has lots of chocolate with a bit less peppers and even less cinnamon. Some lighter vanilla notes with some alcohol spice as well. Hints of roast.
Pours black with a medium small, thick, dark mocha head that exhibits decent retention as it recedes. No lacing and long legs.
Flavor is fairly sweet, but the moderate cinnamon notes cut that a bit and adds some bitterness. Lots of chocolate with some lighter pepper flavors and spice; pepper flavors are lighter than in the aroma. Some light roast and fairly bitter. Light alcohol spice. Vanilla is fairly light.
Mouthfeel is full bodied with medium low carbonation. Slightly oily with a fairly creamy mouthfeel. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a nice adjunct stout even though the beer includes cinnamon. I find the peppers to not be overwhelmingly spicy and they help cut the sweetness of the beer. Nice chocolate notes. ctipping (2236) - Florida, USA - AUG 8, 2016
650 mL bottle. Inky black body with a very slight khaki head. Smells great. Cinnamon and graham cracker. Peppers, vanilla, and a little fudge. Tastes almost as good. Very intense cinnamon. Peppers. Bitter chocolate, but still has a strong sweet finish. Lingering vanilla. Medium heavy. Good blend of spices and stout.
