AshtonMcCobb (6498) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 8, 2014
33cl bottle from Oddbins.
Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head.
Nose - sweetcorn and butterscotch. Pale malt background.
Taste - more butterscotch and pale ale. Lacks a citrus or herbaceous finish
Palate - light to medium bodied and doesn’t really do the lager clean finish that you’d expect.
Overall - not a great example. omhper (24966) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - DEC 14, 2012
Draught at Queens Head, Stockholm. Clear golden, small head. Grassy hop aroma. Dryish with clean mouthfeel and medium body. Grassy hops, bready malt, notes of butter and chalk. Mid bitter finish. A drinkable pilsnerish lager.
