(Bottle). A little spicy aroma of roasted malt. Sweet, slightly tangy and slightly dry flavor of roasted malt with hints of caramel and alcohol in the finish. An OK Swedish Christmas beer.
Bottle best before 2003 sampled 2016 at Dan n thanks. Big mild soy aroma. Old and tired malty taste. Too sweet. villevav (506) - FINLAND - FEB 14, 2015
Tuoksussa paahtunutta maltaisuutta. Miellyttävä hapokas suutuntuma tekee Åbrosta helposti lähestyttävän. Jälkimaussa hieman alkoholia, jonka tuoma lämmittävä vaikutus sopii hyvin tunnelmaan. Huonoa Åbrossa on sen makumaailman yksiulotteisuus, joka tekee tästä hieman mielenkiinnottoman oluen. ration (2253) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 16, 2013

Pours dark brown color with a small head. Aroma of malts, starch, fruits and some caramel. Flavor of caramel malts, ripe fruits and toffee. Some weird metallic off-notes too. Not very pleasant.

Aroma is rather malty and bready with hints of sweet caramel. Flavour is very malty too with lot of christmas spices. Not very pleasant, but drinkable anyway and goes well with scandinavian christmas foods.

Dark brown colour with a minimal white head. Roasted malts and caramel on the aroma. Weak aroma. Medium sweet taste with sweet roasted malts and some bitterness too. Medium bodied and watery mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Average Christmas beer.
from old notes Clear, red-brown hue beneath a light tan head. Date and prune sweetness in the nose with contrasting leather dryness and a bit of chocolate. Mild sweetness made bright by roast and acidity, mild tannins, light bitterness. Oily, thick-ish and well carbonated.fonefan (50004) - VestJylland, DENMARK - APR 8, 2010
Tasty though not particularly expressive in the nose.
50 cl bottle, best before 14 October 2009.
Bottle 500ml. @ home.
Clear dark red brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, spicy, brown sugar, light to moderate yeasty, moderate to light heavy overripped berry yeasty, light drak berry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, artificial, seems cheap raw products. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft.
