pilsnerrogge (3022) - Finspång, SWEDEN - MAY 8, 2006
Dark golden with a large, frothy head. Sweet, malty aroma with a light banana touch. Sweet, malty flavour with notes of cooked vegetables. Alcohol bitter finish. SamGamgee (2585) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - SEP 2, 2007
50cl can. rich gold color with big, foamy head. very sweet malty aroma. Alcoholic and sweet taste, but somewhat of a balance of hop in there, just enough to make this the most balanced and drinkable of the 7%+ swedish lager types that ive had from the system so far. raymondwave (931) - FINLAND - SEP 18, 2007
UPDATED: JAN 25, 2008 Bottle 0.5 l. Hmm.. am I drinking the same beer the others are? 1.84 average is a bit of an understatement I would say. I had this in my fridge for months as I wasn’t very encouraged to open it considering the reviews. Now that I’m having it, it’s got nice full foamy mouthfeel, malts, very crisp hoppiness!, fresh and hides the alcohol very well. Not too sweet by any means. Urquell style hoppiness with bitter aftertaste. Anyhow, too strong alcohol % for a pils like this, altho it’s surprisingly fresh considering. jacobwennbom (356) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - JUL 17, 2006
From can poured in glass: yellow with lasting white head. Aroma is nothing special, just a little sweet. Taste is also sweet with a stinging senseation of alcohol. I guess there was some malt in there as well. We bought this version of Småland out of mistake and even though it wasn’t completely horrible it wasn’t that great either. nulledge (114) - Florida, USA - JUL 13, 2013
Hot Swedish garbage from Blomster at the flight of the Owl. The punishment won't stop.
