Bottle at What The Funk. Pours a hazy yellow gold with medium frothy white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong funk and rubber. Thin mouth, great funk, lemon, brett, cheese, light tartness, really impressive stuff, my favorite of the night. dnstone (3386) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JAN 26, 2015
Flat sorbet-pink color. Tart blueberry bite with musty notes...a great lambic. Aroma is also musty with blueberry.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow liquid with minimal white head. Aroma of lemon, funk, apple skin/red apples, light grain and wood. Taste is dry and medium sour with notes of lemon, apples and barnyard. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Quite funky and balanced, really true to style (lambic that is). Impressing! madvike (3251) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 30, 2013
Bottle shared by levifunk...thanks Levi! - Pours hazy light golden with no head. Nose is lemony, tart, gentle and smooth with a yogurty base. A touch of funk. Taste is gentle, lemony, light funkiness, yogurty, with a pretty dry base and a little vinegar tartness. Slick, and well-carbonated. daknole (11044) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - NOV 17, 2013
Poured at What the Funk. Light yellow with a nice white head. Sour and delicious. Lemony goodness, some cheesy funk, funky and sour. Awesome. So glad to try this one.

750mL shared by BMan1113VR at Woodshop 8. Thank you sir! Pours a hazy, glowing straw with low foam. Nose is ridiculous Girardin and 3F style lambic with moldy grapefruit peel, sharp/spicy barrel, tamarind. Taste is soft grapefruit, lime, tamarind, cedar. Juicy, bitter grapefruit. Ridiculously good geuze clone. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - OCT 15, 2013

Bottle @ Crooked Stave WWBV pre-party and again at Avery/Boulder Sourfest 2013. Pours a cloudy yellow appearance with a white head. Wow! Very funky, lemony, lactic, cheesy (!), vanilla, barnyard aroma. More funk in the flavor along with some bread, must, vanilla, citrus, and cheese. Holy shit this is good. Troy is doing some really unbelievable things these days and this is exhibit A. FUCK YEAH! Doodler (318) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 25, 2013
750 from Troy. He has brewed a nice one and this bottle was shared with the staff at Crooked Stave. Looks and smells like a belgian gueuze - cloudy yellow, minimal head. The nose is funky but balanced with notes of sour fruits and citrus. Taste is similar to a young 3 Fonteinen and nearly as delish....light and tart with woody barrel notes and some peach and hay in the finish. A nice treat from the folks at AC Golden, but Troy has been knocking them out of the park lately, so no surprise really.. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 12, 2013
Tap at 4th Annual Boulder SourFest (2013). Slightly hazy golden-yellow pour with a small white head and good lacing. Super funky, urine, lemony, horse blanket, musty, oaky, basementy, citrusy aroma. Taste is funky, musty, citric acid, lemon peel, yeasty, somewhat doughy, biscuity, green apples, and basement with a medium sour finish. Light body with medium carbonation. About as close to Gueuze as you can get and easily my favorite beer at the festival. The team at AC Golden is killing it!
