One of my favorite Ace’s, and not because of the higher percentage (though that helps!). The aftertaste is the win for me: you don’t taste the added alcohol level and instead it’s a nice crisp, champagne like drying effect.

While I had anticipated a somewhat boring and plain cider, I was pleasantly surprised. Not so bubbly, slightly dry, but leaves a pleasant taste on the tongue of fresh apples that leaves you wanting more. I’m happy I decided to take this one off the shelf.

Draft at the Growler House, served in a flight. Pours a clear bright pale yellow with no head. Surprisingly tart apple, of a green variety, with lemon-lime, faint florals, and sugars. Gets sweeter as it warms. Light-medium bodied, with low carbonation and a sour, tangy, sweet mouthfeel. Interesting cider.

Sample at Tony’s Darts Away. Pale yellow color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of apples and mild spice. Light to medium body with flavors of apples, herbs and citrus. The finish is dry with a mild apple aftertaste. Average overall.

Citrus and vinegar aroma and start. Finishes a little sweet for a dry champagne middle

Look: pours aight straw almost white. Very clear. White head. Smell: Apple. Vinegar. Champagne. Taste: Apple. Sweet champagne. Little bit of sweet vinegar. Feel: medium high carbonation. Very dry. Overall: ok cider. Sweet is quickly overcome by the dryness. First drank: home 2/10/15 Vintage:

Smells like musty dry apple. Clear body. Juicy crisp apple flavor. Crisp on the palate.

Subtle tart apple aromas. Pale straw. Dry, somewhat tart. Light bodied, crisp, sensation of higher alcohol.

Loved this cider. It is a pear hard cider with a soft champagne palate with a fruity aroma. It fits with the current trend of dry ciders that remind one of dry eclectic white wine/champagne.
