Bottle. Head is initially very small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is very light yellow. Aroma is notes of apple candy (Jolly Rancher), grass, hint of plastic. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, slightly unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation, lightly astringent. A joker, indeed...as in, a joke of a cider, or, the joke is on the customer...basically just artificially flavored apple soda.
Bakgaarden Både & 051116. Golden-yellow color with no head. Aroma is apple, yeast. Flavor is apple, yeast, fruit. Easy drinkable cider. bubbleflubber (2210) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - NOV 12, 2016
Pours into the glass a clear yellow-golden hue, with lots of fizzy carbonation that doesn’t lead to a lasting head, nor retention of lace of which to speak. The nose is definitively of Granny Smith apples, some Golden Delicious intermingled as well. Flavors are of semi-ripened aforementioned apples, sour and acidic with a light Red Delicious apple sweetness that doesn’t make the offering cloying, all the while keeping it in check as "semi-sweet". It has a medium body and juicy mouthfeel, with a semi-zesty palate, attributed to the active carbonation at work. It falls on the drier side, Champagne-like, of the "semi-sweet" character, but as Champagne aged in stainless steel, rather than oak barrels. The pull is nice and makes for a wonderful aperitif. As for a hard cider, this is actually very vinous and true to description. Quite decent. CyborgX (107) - THAILAND - OCT 20, 2016
Good strong dry cider, with a champagne like bite to it. Easy to drink, but nothing about it to set it apart from the next strong pale cider....

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The cider is a clear golden yellow with tons of carbonated bubbles. Has a smooth flavor with a dry finish. DebFromIL (1) - USA - SEP 21, 2016 does not count
I love this cider, but it’s not for everyone’s taste. Extremely dry and tart with not much aroma. But I’m always looking for the driest, lowest carb/sugar ciders that I can find. So I can still enjoy alcohol while living a lower carb-gluten free lifestyle. Cider styles vary incredibly, so just depends what you like.

Faint yellow without a head light carbonation. Aromas tart apple candy and slightly earthy. Flavors light tart apple cider and slightly woody. Lightly sour and medium sweet. Not to bad just very one-dimensional and can get boring after a while. Intricate08 (51) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 1, 2016
Like the description, this is a very champagne-like cider. Aroma has floral, lemon, and hints of spice. Light yellow with minimal head. Thin bodied, tart finish. ozzy70 (1081) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 24, 2016
Sample at Omaha Beer Fest, Stinson Park. 6-11-16. Bottle. Pours clear. Aroma was apples and sweet candy. Taste was sweet, apple, candy, dry. hockey9930 (292) - - MAR 16, 2016
Pours a clear pale yellow. Faint aroma of grass and apples. Dry, tart, and fizzy. Similar to cheap sparkling white wine, but with tart green apple finish. ffbot (417) - Oakland, California, USA - DEC 2, 2015
One of my favorite Ace’s, and not because of the higher percentage (though that helps!). The aftertaste is the win for me: you don’t taste the added alcohol level and instead it’s a nice crisp, champagne like drying effect.
