COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A pale, strong, fruity, hoppy Trappist ale from one of Belgiums six official abbey breweries. Achel 8 is hard to find even in Belgium; in the U.S. its up there with the rarest of beers. This blond, flavorful beer is a surprisingly refreshing brew at 8% alcohol by volume. It is lightly filtered, but still wholesomely hazy with yeast remaining and refermenting in the bottle.

Goede balans. Zacht in de mond.

This is a very clear golden coloured blond beer. It's pretty well balanced. Not to bitter sweet or sour. Nice foam that holds surprisingly long. Not a fast drinking blond. Tastes best chilled. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Opaque golden colour, Medium-sized airy white head. Lollipop malts, peanuts, spicy yeast on nose. Medium to full body. Oily to creamy texture. Classically Belgian taste. Big maltiness. Candy, corn, Not overly sweet. Pleasant spicy yeast profile. No alcohol feel. Light bitterness on ending and aftertaste. Basic or classic? Id choose the second.
