3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
33cl bottle. Pours a rich medium brown with a large beige head. Aroma is a bit dusty, with Belgian yeast, mild sugars, and mild dark fruit. A little cream too as it warms. Flavor is metallic overall, with underlying brown sugar, cream, egg whites, banana, yeast again. Pleasant flavor overall if you take the quarters out of the equation. I don’t know why its so metallic; maybe it was kept improperly before I assumed posession? Medum viscosity, pleasant carbonation on the tongue at the finish. Overall, good.
Lovely dark brown colour. A taste of Belgium in a glass. I'm in love. Lighter in taste than expected but a taste that packs a punch.

Aroma a little bit lacking but otherwise almost my preferred level of sweetness for a brune (which is to say somewhat lower than average), caramel and apples, nice carbo mithe (1779) - Opava & Brno, CZECH REPUBLIC - JUN 4, 2017

A brown trappist doubles the least pronounced taste or layering under the trappists doubles but still a solid double brown; How sour and sweet about it Fanni (30) - HUNGARY - MAY 21, 2017
It doesnt have a significant aroma, but the harmony is perfect. The head is rocky, and it has a beige color, the beer itself is red-brown. At the end is a bit sour, only lightly sweet, I can feel hops, but it doesn’t have bitter taste.
