I taste this beer waiting for something else, but O was not disappointed. Not much sugar, enough alcohol and very nice taste.

Aroma is surprisingly fresh for a quad with apples, alcoholic spiciness, dark fruit jam and some slight banana. Taste is sweet, but very drinkable and not too heavy. Licorice, sweet cherry jam, caramel. Medium to full bodied, this is a really nice quad. Very enjoyable. DraftDodger (1574) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2017
Kulhuse 6/7 2017, 75 cl bottle from Den Belgiske Ølbutik. Shared with my Father in law. Very simple label in brown and white stating that this is an Extra Bruin with a healthy ABV. Pours hazy Maroon with very big brownish head. Settles as several centimeters thick dense layer of foam. Massive lacing. Aroma is rather sweet. Dark fermented fruit, quite sugary, solid odor of humid cellar. Soft carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is very sweet bordering on the sugary followed by light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and a little boozy. Quite sweet but it feels not opressively heavy. A solid bruin who manages to feel light and pleasant.

Soaked grapes and raisins, slight alcohol tones. Opaque murky brown quad colour with excellent pillowy head. Carbonated watery body, with dark fruits. Great quad.

330 ml Bottle at home. Not a bad beer, but I was expecting a little bit more from a trappist beer, but very drinkable. Redish with sherry notes Ysok02 (1645) - Mons, BELGIUM - MAR 1, 2017
Shared 750 ml. bottle poured to a snifter displaying a darkest brown hue, with a persistent & frothy layer of off white/light tan head foam, and equally lasting dots & dashes of lacing. The nose was dark, dried fruit, a bit of malty sweetness, a touch of roastiness, and holiday pudding-like spice. Medium+ bodied, with lively carbonation, the taste was similar notes, some tartness & tanginess, low earthy bitterness, and pleasant booziness into the finish. An exceptional Quad. tmrmwel (2156) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 29, 2017
Bottle. Pours clear, dark brown, with no head. Aroma has notes of yeast, and sweet malts with wood. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour follows suit, with wooden yeast and sweet malts. A bit bland, and somewhat of a disappointment. Probably some years too old. Dorita (40) - SPAIN - DEC 30, 2016
Beige head with perfect brussels lace. Aroma: malts, prunes and caramel. Taste: nuts, hazelnut, caramel, dark fruits and liquor. Tasted in Olut Club de Cata
