App.: Clear, medium golden, large white meringue.
Aroma: A bit of yeast, lemony tang, light coriander spiciness, a bit of honey and candi sugar sweetness.
Palate: Medium body, medium-light effervescence, a bit astringent.
Flav.: Soft and sweet, a bit of lemon/citrus, some honey, a touch of funk, a bit of yeast; a bit of alcohol and a bit of bitterness on the finish.
Simple, but so am I. A bit.
Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding. A hazy pale yellow with a small creamy white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is a little musky with a good deal of sweet malts. Creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is little dull, sweet, malty with a slight sour note at the end. Could have been better with just a little more ’power’. BeerBiker (1415) - Odense, DENMARK - JUN 21, 2007
[Bottle from Skjold Burne, Hjallesevej sampled in 2004.]
A nice summerfriendly beer without the amounts of ingredients, but as a belgian ale it’s ok in this way. Bitterness, yeasty, fruitsweet in the light ale way. An ok beer. oberabcbbsok (692) - Hoboken, BELGIUM - JUN 17, 2007
Bottle. A nice not too sweet beer with a littlr bitterness. Smooth bodied indead. A little spicy schuimkroaat (427) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUN 9, 2007
33 cl bottle, ’bbe’ Aug 07. Dark blond, modest head, abundance of yeast flakes. Malty and spicy nose with hints of honey, tea, horse raddish and even - mustard. Very round, smooth-bodied malty taste with a touch of spiced honey cake and again some spicy mustardlike notes. A hint of cherries and a certain earthiness as well.

Bottle, 33 cl. @ KBW Vichte. Dark goldencolor with an white head. Aroma fruity, yeasty. Medium bodied. Taste is sweet, yeast, much hops. Good. JoeinDahlem (1521) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 17, 2007
Pale gold blonde with very little head and heavy pils leanings. Faint straw aroma with some malt. Nicely bitter, light, and dry in the mouth. Flavor is hops and straw. Mildly bitter again on the finish, which is drier than the relatively wet mouthfeel. Refreshing and more interesting than I thought. Light for an ale, but it would be a serious lager. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 1, 2007
(Bottled) Clear golden-amber (very hazy golden with yeast) color with a medium, foamy and firm, lacy head. Strongly pale-malty, slightly honeyish, pine-soapy aroma with fruit, yeast, coriander, rosemary, and some acidity. Acidic-honey-malty flavor with some coriandery spiciness, sweetish raspberry, and hints of lemon. Light to medium-bodied, neutral palate with balanced carbonation. A quite pleasant and easily drinkable, yet not the most memorable blonde. A bit girlish, I’d say... :) Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 10, 2007
Golden with a nice and lasting head - and the sediments are like a blizzard in the bottle. The aroma has notes of yeast and citrus. The flavour has a lot (too much) notes of bread, yeast, fruit and a citrussy finish. It’s nice, but I would have liked it to be in better balance and with a fuller body. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 28, 2006
Bottled. Pours hazy and golden, with a good deal of carbonation, floaties and a nice off-white head. Complex aroma with apples, citrus, yeast-notes and hints of orange and raspberry. The flavor is yeasty and fruity, with hops, sweetness and some sour notes. Full body and a finish with a nice bitterness. The bottle was dated best before 20061031, and the lagering sure didn’t hurt it. (061111)
