Yellow blond beer with some hazyness and with a white airy head. Outspoken yeasty aroma’s with some herbal accents and with fine malty hints. This beer has a light sweet mouthfeel with some fruityness in it ( stonefruits ), also some stange Gluwein aroma’s and touche of pear and dry white bread.
It ends with a green bitterness of the hops. ThomasE (5174) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 4, 2004
Straw coloured beer with big white head. Aroma is malty with some herbs. Flavor is also malty with some hay. Very dry finish. JorisPPattyn (9928) - Ursel, BELGIUM - AUG 21, 2004
Big off-white head with big bubbles; dark straw coloured beer. End of bottle is quite flunky. Grapes and wheat (strange, no wheatbeer) in the nose: I get some white candi sugar too. Bitterish first impression, then sweet malt (pale, but also cookie) taste. Finish is hop-bitter again, but not hop-aromatic. Generally very grainy beer, bit like wholeweat cookies. Light to medium bodied. The malt might be there, but there’s little "beef" to it. Bitterish finish lasts very long in the mouth. Nice drinkable beer, more bones than beef, with a very wheat-grain character.
