Bottle: Poured a clear golden color ale with some good retention and some nice lacing feature. Aroma consists of spicy yeast with some nice yeast ester also noticeable. Taste consists of some spices, some fruity ester and a nice dry Saaz hoppy finish. Body is about average with some good carbonation. (on bottle) A very plesant experienc for a non-believer in the belgian beer-magic. Has all the good caracterictics for a blond; pale gold color, lots of fermenting and the bana/yeast flavors. But it also has a lots f fresh, dry and sour, white wine feels to it. Never saw about 0,5 cm of yeast in a 33ml. before. gunnfryd (14872) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 4, 2006
Bottle. Dark golden/orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sour, apple, orange, acidic, fruit. Flavour is fruit, sweet, yeast, hop, orange yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 28, 2006
Bottled. Pours hazy and golden, with a good deal of carbonation, floaties and a nice off-white head. Complex aroma with apples, citrus, yeast-notes and hints of orange and raspberry. The flavor is yeasty and fruity, with hops, sweetness and some sour notes. Full body and a finish with a nice bitterness. The bottle was dated best before 20061031, and the lagering sure didn’t hurt it. (061111) ekstedt (6773) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 9, 2012
