COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This cross-cultural brew was first made at the request of an Irish musical group and was named "Celtic Heaven," but soon became a permanent part of the Serafijn lineup. Similar to a light Irish ale, but but with the intriguing of a spicy, almost perfumed aroma that comes not from spices but from a special Belgian yeast.

Bottle from an early trade consumed at home from notes. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor had pale malts, yeast, fruit, banana, mild spices, not too much that stands out, probably wouldn’t do this again.

Bottle Pours amber , good white head . Smell is weak , bit bitter grainyness . Some dough-like spices . Overcarbonated . Taste is bitter, some earthy spices , bit perfumy . Balanced, and quite good .. If only not so damn overcarbonated ...

Something between an Irish red and a Belgian amber, with yellow white, thick but not very stable, moussy head and misty copper colour. Fruity aroma of mango, melon, pear, passion fruit, also tomato, ginger, whisky, walnuts, cake, honey and some DMS (cooked cabbage) as well as an ever so faint hint of H2S (rotten eggs). Soft caramelly taste, fruity, yeasty, medium carbo, medium bitter finish.

Clear amber color, minïmal head. Aroma of caramel, candy sugar, nuts, ripe banana, anise. Taste is first sweet then more bitter, with an astringent finish. Light body, fizzy carbonation. OK beer, nothing special.

OK ale. It is different than most and well brewed but not a favorite for me. There is an interesting funky element in the taste but also something metallic I’m not too keen on. It is not sweet and still has nice caramel and rich spiciness in the flavor. The yeast offers a hint of licorice. It has a good head and pleasant carbonation.

Une ale ambrée de 6,2 % abv. Couleur ambre moyen. Clarté nette. Bulles fines partout vives.
