Poured from 750ml bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a thick white head, aroma is of slight spice and a little bit of Belgian yeast, flavor has a fruity front end with some spice in the finish and a touch of bubblegum, interesting. bbbeer (863) - Massachusetts, USA - MAR 9, 2014
Dark brown, medium tan head. Aroma sweet malt, red fruit. Medium-light body, somewhat oily mouthfeel. Flavor is sweet mostly. Mostly malty. Not bad, but not a lot of complexity and a little thin for the style. gschrade (1094) - Collinsville, Illinois, USA - JAN 2, 2014
I had this at Global Brew. Pours amber with a white head. Taste sweet, earthy funky flavor. I thought this was so so. I could drink this again.

Slightly hazy, golden pour with a thin, white head. The aroma has some sour grape and plum. It has a light, oily body with average carbonation. The taste is sweet with an easy finish. wxman (1841) - O’Fallon, Illinois, USA - DEC 23, 2013
On tap at Global Brew. Pours a hazy orange/gold with a thin antique lace head. Faint sweet aroma. Taste is sweet roasted malt, honey, bread along with some mild funk.

Honey aroma and caramel clear color with skimpy head. Has a slight hippy after taste and mildly sweet flavor. ronaldtheriot (1980) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Serafijn Christmas Angel has a medium, fizzy, spongy head, some lacing left on the glass, and an initially clear (clouds up after the caked bottom contents are swished & poured in), bubbly amber appearance. The aroma is subdued, but one can detect some spices and sweet bread. The taste, just like the aroma, is mostly of beer, with a hint of spice and bread. Mouthfeel is full and fairly prickly, and Serafijn Christmas Angel finishes dry, refreshing, easy drinking, and not the slightest bit alcohilic. Overall, this is a nice Winter beer, because the focus is on beer flavor and not gimmicky spice flavor. RJT hotstuff (5233) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 7, 2013
Rated on 6-15-2010 (Bottle) This beer forms a medium sized extremely fizzy white head with a short retention, lots of floaties, hazy golden body, and spotty amounts of lacing. The Aroma is biscuit malt, sweet, spicy, fruity, grassy and floral hops. The Taste is sweet, spicy, lightly malty, and spicy. The Palate is lively and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, this beer was a gusher when opened, easy to drink at 8%ABV, but I did not enjoy the flavor as it seemed disjointed. BillWyce (1098) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 30, 2013
From notes: Poured hazy orange-amber with a thick, creamy 1-finger off-white head. Sweet, orangey aroma with a very light peppery note and some earthy yeast. Body is medium, with a slight thickness and a dry finish. Flavor is citrusy with a touch of spice, maybe coriander. The dryness in the finish becomes more pronounced as it warms. alobar (3879) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 3, 2013
Pours a dark, dull, cloudy orange color with an white soapy head. Aroma of plum, cherry, bread, and candii sugar. Excellent lacing with plum, cherry bread, caramel, and candii sugar flavor. Dry finish. Really nice!
