An epic brew from Achilles, a red-brown rich and malty masterpiece with just a dash of hoppy bitterness for balance.

F: huge, light off-white, average retention, collapsing. C: pale coppery with more red, almost clear with yeasty debris floating in. A: malty, banana, orange, toffee, molasses. T: huge banana taste, malt, molasses, caramel, hint of alcohol, floral, spicy, medium to full body, normal carbonation, not bad may be quite cliché but taste is good and enjoyed, 0,33l bottle from Delhaize in Antwerpen.

Bottle shared. Pours hazy amber with a small off white head. Aroma of toffee, cardboard malt, candy, butterscotch and yeast. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

craftbeersweden (694) - SWEDEN - SEP 16, 2015
Dark orange, hazy, beer with a one finger high, white, head.

Nose: Sweet caramel malt, orange, vanilla, bread, raisin, apple and toffee.
Taste: Brown sugar, caramel, raisin, biscuit, plum, yeast, herbs, orange marmalade, malt and hops.
Body: Medium body. High carbonation. A little bitterness.

Great taste and moutfeel. Not overwhelming though. Good solid Belgian strong ale.

vipinvelp (4512) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - AUG 27, 2015
Clear orange, big white lasting lacing foam head. Sweet aroma and taste, probably by high alcohol content, still quite nice beer. (Velp 201508)

Bosbouw (2982) - Gemonde, NETHERLANDS - JUL 5, 2015
Heldere koper kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt zoetig, stroop, suiker. Smaakt zoetig, stroop. Zoete meuk.

chromeotaphor (175) - NETHERLANDS - JUN 30, 2015
Diep donker caramel warm aroma.

onceblind (10326) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 29, 2015
Slightly hazy deep copper with a lush Rocky off white head. Creamy yet musty Belgian strong ale aromas with some bright Amber malts and toast, maybe a dash of fruitiness as well. Smooth and mellow Belgian amber malt flavor, a dash of booze, Belgian fruity esters, light toast, amber grains and gentle Belgian estery booze on the finish. Semidry and quite tasty.

BlazerT (1219) - Sosnowiec, POLAND - JUN 21, 2015
Bottle. Amber with tiny white head. Smell is highly caramel and yeasty, booze quite noticable, some fruit and pear. Taste is semi-sweet to sweet. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, fisnish is semi-sweet.

Icedwarf (1763) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - JUN 6, 2015
Troebel donkergeel bier zonder schuim. Smaak is zoet en fruitig, vanille, perzik en appels. Erg goed bier, smaak blijft redelijk lang hangen.

PlutonowyMan (865) - Baardegem, BELGIUM - MAY 27, 2015
Piana zbudowana z drobnych p?cherzyków, be?owa. Niestety do?? szybko opada, redukuj?c si? do niewielkiego pier?cienia. Wysycenie ?rednie w kierunku do wysokiego.
