Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. I think this is the name of a bowie song haha. Pours a hazy dark bread? (scribble) color with a medium soapy head and good lacing. Apple cinnamon quaker oatmeal with a sweet candi sugar and boozy taste. Nothing like being drunk at breakfast. Medium mouthfeel and medium to long finish.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a huge, foamy off-white head with good retention. Hazy orange body. Good lace. Aroma of bread, pear, caramel, cinnamon and sort of a koji like sake presence to the yeast. Taste is wet hay, bread, pear, rotting, caramel and grain. Sparse but lively carbonation. Dry mouthfeel.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a cloudy gold with off-white head. Aroma of malt and very faint funk. Flavor is sweet, malt, alcohol. Mouthfeel is full body with high, fizzy carbonation. Overall, it’s ok, a kinda plain strong ale....

Ober (2811) - Bommelerwaard, NETHERLANDS - DEC 26, 2008
A little hazy orange colored beer, with an off-white head. The aroma of light caramel malt, with bread, hops and fruit. The taste of a little liquorice juice, with fruits like raisin. A rich malty flavor, almost no alcohol. The aftertaste is a little bitter.

Hazy dark bronze orange with a huge light khaki head. The aroma is medicinal with some oranges and apples. There is also a pleasant green fresh cut wood scent. It’s like you entered an orchard and cut some branches while eating part of the harvest. The taste is like light brown sugar mixed with some iced tea. There is also some light mango fruit in the finish. Hints of dry wood throughout. Highly carbonated, this is a decent brew.
