LIght in color and pretty in the glass. There is a lot of brut champagne on this beer. Plenty of delicate fruit on the nose, but terribly light scent. On the tongue, bright alcohol, slick palate and drying finish. Sour fruits and light caramel malt. Lumpy (1802) - Carrollton, Texas, USA - FEB 20, 2009
Bottle. Body-hazy orange with a thick ring of bubbles and a thin film of bubbles. Nose-soap, lotion, orange. Taste-orange zest, foamy, high CO2, light white spice, sugar cane, lavender, rose water, heather, solid, a bit cloying at the end. Beaver (1789) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 9, 2009
750 ml bottle. Pours a golden orange with lots of suspended floaties. It has a huge spongy white head that retains well and laces the glass.TaxiDriver (1775) - Stadland, GERMANY - JUN 2, 2010
The aroma is sweet fruity and bready malts, with a little grassy bitterness and some funk. Some dark fruit / fruitcake comes out as it warms.
The flavor is some sweet malts with light bitterness and spicy yeast - it’s a bit washed out. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with a velvety mouthfeel.
Overall, a decent brew. It reminded me a lot of fruit cake.
Bottle. The aroma of yeast, light fruity. The white creamy head is small with a long duration, the body is dark orange. The taste is fruity and yeasty, light sour and a little bit like bread. The body is creamy, medium strong and with a soft carbonation. mikske79 (1666) - Puerto Plata, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - AUG 16, 2014
Dit vond ik persoonlijk niet zo goed. Niet veel speciaals aan de smaak. Dan is de donkere beter

Troebel donkergeel bier zonder schuim. Smaak is zoet en fruitig, vanille, perzik en appels. Erg goed bier, smaak blijft redelijk lang hangen. JMFG (1587) - Florida, USA - NOV 12, 2007
Courtesy SoLan. Amber-orange color with a mostly white head. Sweet sickly honeyed aroma, light spice, pretty basic Belgain aromas. The taste has the same sickly sweet character, with a ton of candi sugar flavor. Also had a thick almost chalky mouthfeel that wasn’t too appealing. mjik83 (1559) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - DEC 4, 2014

Alcoholpercentage van 9%
Uitgeschonken in Grimbergen glas
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a large, dense white head. Some sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Aroma was bready with some fruity esters and a yeasty earthiness. Flavor was mild caramel and bread, some fruit (cherries and raisins), some yeast, mild bitterness. Mouthfeel was creamy. Alcohol was well hidden. NIce, but nothing terribly special. head: small away very fast
colour: amber /apple juice
smell: malts, coriander, hops, stingy soury and salty , mild oranges , and maple syrup
taste: honey and malts in the start , next comes in some rock candy and cane sugar, a bit of a smokey skunky taste , herbs and spices , alcohol , ends with a very dry bitter and yeasty taste ... kinda ok ...
