COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
ACME CALIFORNIA BROWN ALE is creamy smooth after the style made famous in the north of England. It's toasty with hints of cherry and black currant. Acme Brown is brewed according to tradition with high dried and brown malt, and lightly finished with the Noble hops Tettnang and Hallertauer. The result is a very drinkable beer that can be enjoyed for an entire evening.

Amber color with a quick, lacey head. Malty aroma and taste. Slight wateriness in the mouthfeel. Overall not too shabby.

Full bouquet, featuring walnuts, some yeast, and chocolate malt. Low-key chocolate character finishes with some hops, yeast, and chocolate. Medium bodied and a bit too watery, this could easily be mistaken for a porter. Very good.

Pretty delicious brown. I would like the finish to have been just a bit more full.

Very nice malt profile, med body and sweetish aroma. Med head. Nice malty flavor with an interesting, almost spicy hop flavor.

A drinkable Brown Ale, nice touch of malt, some hop undertones and a fair bit of carbonation, decent nose overall. My first experience with this brewery and all 3 of the beers received are quite drinkable.
