From the bottle this pours a clear brown body with a one-fingered head. Minimal lacing. The aroma has scents of chocolate and toffee with a light herbal bitterness. The flavor reminds me of those chocolate malt balls (we called them malteezers) that I ate as a kid. Some earthy bitterness and an odd touch of alcohol come in near the finish. Drinkable.Taverner (1100) - San Ramon, California, USA - SEP 12, 2007

Not great, very malty. Almost sugary - I wouldn’t reccomend this for any hop fans. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007

Tasted 2007-04-06. 1,5 years old, 35,5cl. Clear amber colour with little head. Aroma of malt, molasses - very sweet. Not much taste - maybe too old. Tastes a bit like bread. Has some bitterness left. It’s not bad, and despite the low strength, it’s has gone trough the cellaring quite good. faroeviking (10988) - Citizen above universe pendejo, FAROE ISLANDS - JUL 29, 2007

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2007 Warm and heavy, blackcurrant notes in the flavour. Caramel aroma, sweet and cloying. Murky brown. Adenila (1560) - DENMARK - JUN 5, 2007
Clear amber with a small dense light brown head. Aroma is that of mild sweet caramel with underlying notes of alchohol and flowers. Flavor is sweet and sirupy with a decent amount of bitter hobs taking over. Watery finish, and therefore hardly any aftertaste. thewolf (12631) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAY 17, 2007
Bottle. A little muddy deep brown with a nice medium creamy yellowish head with a little lacing. Aroma is sweet with some maltyness and a definite sherry-like feel to it. Mouthfeel is creamy and airy. Flavour is sweet with some caramel, malty and again an oaky sherry creeps in. It dies out a touch before finishing on a chocolate bitter note.
