12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy brown with a creamy and slowly diminishing light tan head. Loads of malt and overripe fruity notes. Caramel malt towards toffee flavoured. Showing a light overripe fruit note. Bitterness from the hops is slowly showing through the dense malt flavours. Light bitterness into the finish. Bottle at Cockney Pub, Århus. A slightly hazy brown beer with a small, beige head. Lovely chocolate and roasted aroma with some fruityness to give it some balance. Chocolate start on the flavor, with some roasted malt showing up quickly, and getting company of a nice balancing fruityness with some citrus. Not much bitterness. Smooth, medium mouthfeel, quite low on co2. Really pleasant, smooth and easy to drink. (080517) MiP (15972) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 30, 2005
Bottle. Bonbon aroma, hint of oxidation. Clear chestnut colour. Aromatic hop flavour. A bit thin/watery. Watery aftertaste. Long, semi-unpleasant bitterness in aftertaste. Overall, not as bad as it sounds.
