COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.
2012 vintage: 6.9% abv

A hazy orange beer with a nice orange head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with the hops oils coming thru, but also some caramel. The flavor is very hoppy, here the hop oils also make their presence, combined with some lesser grass notes and a very dry bitter end.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2004 Sampled draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm.
Clear pale amber, small head. Sweaty, fruity hoppy nose. Very dry. Clean, hard mouthfeel. Just loads of hops. The malt profile is plain and simple, but the hops creates all kinds of sensations: grassy- herbal, salty licorice, fruity grapefruit. Very bitter finish, of course.

On tap at Akkurat. Light haze on this amber - gold beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is softish with fine minerally carbonation. Light creamy malt, slightly dry. Bitterish tangerine peel, slight floralness. Finishes smooth and dry with mild peel bitterness. Good but somewhat muted for a US IPA.
