ACME CALIFORNIA PALE ALE is a smooth, clean ale with faint citrus and honey flavor notes and a dry finish. It is brewed with Yakima Valley hops and the finest American two-row malt, but with a measure of British specialty malt for depth. This easy drinking pale ale is a "session beer" which will be welcomed at neighborhood taverns and restaurants (and refrigerators) throughout the west.

Pure malt garbage. No hoppy flavor and is just a terrible tasting beer. Pours light orange in color. Smells malty. Had at Carolina ale house on Charlotte. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The aroma is light citrus, tangerines and a hint of fresh leaves. The taste is classic American Pale Ale, but maybe a bit on the lower side of everything? A little biscuity, slightly toasted malts with mild pine and vague lemon peels. A pretty dry aftertaste. Its refreshing, but not the coolest one around.

Bottle. StarmoreBoss, Sheffield. Clear gold. Thick, lasting, white head. Pale, lager malt aroma. A little fruit salad. Taste is light sweet. Hint of bitter. Clean, fresh palate. Finishes a little dry. Sweet close. Not the tastiest beer, but quite refreshing, and easy drinking.

"a tiny bit better than others in the acme line, but still a slightly below average pale ale. not enough balance in the beer, the hops are ok, but they have no other presence to play off of."

Dark amber, ephemeral foam. Smells faintly of flowers, bread and american hops. Tastes surprisingly sweet and feels equally surprisingly vinous; tastes of toffee, artificial-like sweeteners, rock candy and a bit of wood. The alcohol is certainly also present, and becomes overdominating the aftertaste. Nevertheless an enjoyable beer.

Bottle. Clear golden pour, small offwhite head. Very subtle nose, a little malty. Crisp malty taste, a little sweet, roasted notes. Aveage carbonation, slick texture, medium body.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orangish gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a lot of grain and biscuit with just a hint of grass underlying. Flavor begins thin but grows to have notes of sweet grain, biscuit and a touch of grass.
