Fruity aroma. Golden coloured hoppy and earthy with some sour fruit flavour. Bitter lasting finish.

White head. Hoppy aroma. Golden coloured smooth on the palate floral and hoppy with a little dryness in a creamy and very bitter finish.

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 11 Apr 2014) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with tropical fruit, grass and biscuity malt. Fruity, malty taste with notes of grass, tropical fruit, apricots, hints of grapefruit and a slightly resiny bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Refreshing and tasty. UPDATED: SEP 27, 2009 Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A golden coloured beer with a loose white head and some lacing. The aroma is malty and a bit biscuity. The taste is malty and nutty. There is some citricity, but also a tiny amount of diacetyl. Cask hand pull, The Felix, Nuneaton, 02/01/16. Slim necked brilliant gold. Eggy front with creeping soft lemony cake notes. Lingering cashew.
Nose sulphur and not much else. Weak grass and bicarbonate notes. Bland. Beer from another time.
