September 13, 2015 - at Cask Pub & Kitchen - handpull cask. Looks like nobody rated this one - I had to create it - but I found quite a number of check-ins for it on untappd, so I didn’t dream it (shows as "no longer being produced" there). Slightly brassy gold with an appealing lasting beige milky head. Mild aroma - such a thick head - what there was was grainy and a bit acidic - hint of dry leafy malt. Taste is old school IPA - so not American, mostly generic bitterness (vaguely resiny) tons of twiggy malt. Somewhat thick body, a tad still, emerging almost burnt maltiness in the finish leaving me not terribly impressed - somewhat harsh. Like a trip to the bad old days ...
