Beese (3064) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 7, 2014
Cask at The Moon Under Water, Watford on 2 Jul 2012. Poured a clear golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of citrus, brown sugar and grain. Toasted malt in the flavour, with some flowery hop and peal. Finish was grapefruit, resin and straw.

Cask (backlog). Orangeish amber colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is zest, citrus, bready malts with some slight sulphury notes. Flavour is very similar. Balanced and quite tasty apart from the sulphury notes.

Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in July 2012 - Gold in colour. Fruity; citrus grapefruit and oranges. Hoppy; grassy and resiny hops. Malty; sweet toasty malts. Bitter fruity hoppy throughout. Drinkable.

SilkTork (5800) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2012
JDW, Rochester. Hops on a pale malt with a dusting of granulated sugar and a vanilla pod. Greenish hops. Drinkable and pleasant, though a tad too hoppy for my taste,

SarkyNorthener (4764) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 29, 2012
[email protected] darby, merry hill diskette (jdw) slightly cloudy golden in appearance bitter with a slight tangy taste. Very average.

BlackHaddock (7562) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2012
16th August 2012: hand-pulled pint in my local Wetherspoons into a UK sleeve. Yet another golden brew with a citrusy nose: I’m getting fed up with them now. No better or worse than the rest: middle of the road IPA where the blend of hops from around the world cancelled each other out a bit. The alcohol was just about detectable and helped to at least give the brew some ‘umph’, otherwise it was as forgettable as all the rest in this increasingly annoying style.
