Gravity tap at Northwich Beer Festival 2013. Tasted like out of date coca cola and gone off coffee, disgusting a gusher larsga (7676) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 17, 2013
Medium beige head. Nearly opaque black body goes deep dark brown at edges. Earthy cocoa aroma with prunes notes. Dry-sweet roasty earthy caramel taste with burned notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish earthy floral herbal aftertaste with salty roasty notes. It’s ok, but low on flavor and just not that good. (0.5l bottle, from House of Trembling Madness, York.) Cask. Roasted malts, filter coffee, ash and liquorice on the nose. Hint of grass mid-palate, nicely roasted and bitter finish. Thin body, minimal carbonation. Can imagine this would be better bottled.
