Hatton, London. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, fruits, wood and some mild berries and resiny notes as well. Flavour is wood, caramel and some sweet fruity and floral notes. Balanced.
Cask @ Brigantes York, A clear orange/amber colored beer, with a thick white head. The aroma is a little sweet of fruits with citrus, with bitter hops. The taste is some sweet with citrus moving tot strong bitter hops. The aftertaste is a little sweet and strong bitter. tombyars (1702) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - DEC 7, 2011
Tasted this bitter in Tennents Bar, Glasgow in December 2011. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear pale amber with a thin white head. Slight hoppy tang in the short aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malt gives a digestive biscuit base with tart redcurrant fruit. Strong earthy hop resins impart a dry bitter metallic aftertaste. Malt just edges the hops in the short finish. An ok session bitter but nothing spectacular. wyzzywyz22 (2108) - Wirral, Merseyside, ENGLAND - DEC 6, 2011
Cask, Philarmonic, Liverpool. Amber looks with a decent creamy off white head. Fragrant aroma of citrus, wood and hop. Intriguing flavour that had further fruit mixed with herby hop, spices and a little sourness. Dry bitter finish. Decent beer that grabs your attention and your taste buds, but something a bit strange lurking herein that I couldn’t decide if I truly liked. The Babby (JDW), Derby, 30/11/11, having a sit down after a 7hr shopathon with Octo and excitedly leafing through the 14 CDs I’d just bought for £6.84. Deep gold and lacy. Aroma has some oatmeal and an almost roasted note (as spotted by Octo) beneath mouldering orange peels. Firm and tangerine-accented with a suggestion of cardamom..chocolate orange as it warms. Just another single hop Acorn IPA.

Still can’t make up my mind on this one - so wrong it’s right. There’s super tasty up front then rankness at the back

Hand pulled at the Shakespeare (Lower Temple St), Birmingham. Orange, with prim foam bosom. Smells like a bad bitter. A bit. Mmm, lots of flavs: big coconut, some bitter lemon, some milky herb, some star anise. Initially difficult to take, but ultimately interesting, moreish and nice. bobinlondon (1295) - Harrow, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 11, 2011
Hand pulled cask at the Falcon, Clapham. Amber with an off white head. A good presentation of it’s single variety hop with signature pineapple, sherbet and vanilla notes. Many people don’t rate this hop but I find it’s distinctiveness appealing. leaparsons (10548) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 6, 2011
Cask, The Grange, Oadby. Golden with a an off-white head. Aromas are earthy, woody with gooseberry and melon. White wine with light lemon. Flavours are sweet caramel and biscuit with sweet, jammy gooseberry. Floral with citrus. Dry and quite arid on the finish. Clean on the palate. Very good. imdownthepub (14555) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2011
Cask conditioned at The Crown, Oxford. Gold amber with white head. Dry, bitter, hoppy beer, some grapefruit with drying grape note. Sharp, biscuity body, bright and really very refreshing. Long finish. Good stuff.
