Cask handpull at Market Porter. Very pale gold, thin off white head. Decent golden ale, more hops than most beers in this style. Only a touch of soapy hop, mostly good sherbert. OK golden ale. I like Acorn. Decent spritzey condition.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average to huge, macropore to frothy, white head. Sweet fruity and grainy aroma with hints of strawberry and mandarin. Very soft palate. Taste is minimally sweet malty and grainy, with increasing notes of husk and hay. Earthy bitter hop notes in the finish.

Cask. Very pale yellow. Thin lace top. Lemony scent. Floral hoppy taste with strong aeration and light to medium body. Pleasant fruit residue on the palate. Im not a hopy pale fan but this deserves a place in the broad church of ale. At least its not lager!

50cl bottle from Morrisons, Bracknell. A straw coloured pour with a ring of white head; grassy aroma with some limey citrus; thin dusty citric taste; and a pleasant long grassy bitterness to finish. Rather odd.
