Honey roasted peanut and fresh coffee aromas arise from the glass of this deliciously balanced brown ale. Dark Chocolate, hints of vanilla and nutty undertones are evident mid-pallet, while roasted coffee beans round out the finish.

(Tap) clear, bright amber colour with a small brown head; light aroma of milk chocolate; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish

joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - OCT 7, 2016
On draft at Tap 25. It pours a clear dark amber color with a khaki head. The aroma is very toasted and dry with hints of coffee. The flavor follows suit with toasted malt, a little coffee and light notes of plum. Medium floral bitterness. Light bodied. Kind of a standard brown ale despite all the additives.

Cybercat (6239) - Georgia, USA - JUN 30, 2016
Taps clear mahogany with a thick and fine-bubbled tan head. Aroma is not strong, but tempts with caramel and molasses tones. Flavor is a little stronger, heck, more than a little stronger - roast malt, caramel, horehound, hint of molasses. Mouthfeel presents OK body and lively fizz. Shake your beer maker!

On tap at Acoustic - on the menu as Shake Your Money Maker with Coffee. Poured a dark brown color with a tan head. Coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and some roastiness.

On draft at the Brewery. I really don’t like brown ales... why did I get this? maybe because the other 20 beers offered were all IPAs. Really? How many IPAs do you need on tap at one time? crazy.

biirusaikou (2705) - - DEC 16, 2015
Draught at Watering Hole. Pleasant mix of roasted nuts, chocolate and notes of vanilla, cookie, fairly dry finish. Quite an enjoyable one, smooth and balanced.

Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - DEC 6, 2015
Pours a deep dark brown color with a roast malt aroma. Taste is chocolate, nutty, with a touch of vanilla. Almost a root beer flavor to the beer. A dry malt finish after the swallow.

Bomber. Nose is nothing to write home about; nothing objectionable, but nothing distinctive. The taste has a good dose of dark bitter chocolate, bitter cocoa powder, and lingering bitterness on the finish. I think the brewer went a bit too heavy handed with the magnum bittering charge. Paired well with a burger.

kemoarps (46) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 7, 2015
Dark murky cola-ish brown. More brown than cola though. A good finger of fine creme head.
Nose is sweet and nutty. Almost a tart note towards the end. Almost a touch creamy.
Flavour follows suit. Brown sugar and nuttiness. Maybe a hint of molasses as well. Creamy mouthfeel and an acrid bitter finish. Lingers
A bit bitter, but otherwise a really solid brown. James would be proud?

Keg at the taproom, 13/11/14.
Chestnut brown with a decent beige covering, good lacing ensues.
Nose is nutty, biscuit, toffee, sweet notes.
Taste comprises toffee, sweet licks, biscuit malt.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close.
So so.
