Bottle. Pours a clear light peachy-orange with a white foamy ring. Aroma of honey and fruit juice, sweet and tart. Taste is sparkly and sweet, with honey and apples. Lingering sparkly honey taste. More like a honey cider than a mead, but tasty and refreshing.
Sample at the taproom. This Mead is a clear pale golden color with a minimal white head and decent legs on the glass. Apple, honey and spice aromas. Medium body with flavors of green apple, honey and mild spice. The finish is fruity with an apple aftertaste. Decent overall. bpar73 (1117) - Bellaire, Michigan, USA - AUG 20, 2015
On tap at the taproom. Pale gold pour with a mild sweet honey taste and aroma. Good stuff. JaBier (7871) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JUN 2, 2014
Bottle purchased at Siciliano’s in Grand Rapids. Clear yellow pour with a thin white head. Aroma of funky hop, honey and apple. Sweet honey and apple flavor with some hoppiness before a dry finish. flatmatt (1563) - Northville, Michigan, USA - JUN 21, 2013
12 oz bottle. Pours clear golden with a brief white head. Not at all sure what’s going on in the aroma, mild dry honey perhaps? Flavor, again not that much, light dry honey flavor, slightly plasticy. Not terribly to my taste. b3shine (8803) - Indiana, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good for the style; a fizzy transparent gold with thin white lacing. Smells of honey. Tastes like it smells, but milder (which is a good thing). Nice on the palate. Not bad.

golden with minimal head. fruity and sweet with light tartness. other varieties were better. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - FEB 7, 2012
mostly a mixture of apple cider, cherry juice, and some carbonated mead...really simple stuff here, i honestly cannot elaborate too much further.. Pailhead (6539) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - DEC 26, 2011
Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate honey, light apple, and cherry sweet tarts. It pours a transparent "white" gold with a small fizzy white head that quickly faces to a ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts light honey. The finish is light-moderate apple, white wine, an increased honey presence, and a touch of cherry. Light-moderate bodied with champagne-like carbonation. Overall, it’s drinkable, but I’m not much of a fan of white wine. MeadMe (1652) - Fishhawk, Florida, USA - SEP 23, 2011
Pours a light clear hue with subtle red tones when held up to the light. Lots of small bubbles zip from the bottom to the top of the glass. Aromas of light honey and cherry juice. Flavor is mild somewhat watered down. Light honey and cider. Hints of sweet cherry. Not the most complex but it is drinkable.
