Draft @ Pivo & Burger Fest Oct’16, Ljubljana.

500ml Bottle (Thanks Omhper) - Golden with a haze and a white head. Lemon and some perfumed notes in the aroma. Zesty, tangy and refreshing taste with lemon, lime, honey and grain. A pils with plenty of character that combines tradition with some modern twists. A slight tartness can be detected in the finish and this might be down to the beer being unfiltered and not particularly fresh (Per got it a couple of months back) but it does not take away from the enjoyment, and perhaps even adds to it.

Yellow colored, bit hazy, moderate strong creamy white head. Aroma is of grains, malt, cereal, some butter, straw. Taste is low sweet malt, cereal, grains - bread, buttery, straw and some noble hops, low bitterness. Low bodied, moderate carbonation.

UPDATED: OCT 31, 2015 Pours a slightly hazy golden color, topped with average white head. Mild malty aroma, quite some bready and yeasty notes. Taste is sweet and bready, some little bitterness in the end. Not bad, a bit flat, but very drinkable.

2l bottle. Hayz golden color with nearly no white head - poor appearance. Nice malty/yeasty aroma. Taste was ok, nothing extra - malty with herbal. Absolutely no trace of co2.

Bottle 2l at home. Nice malty and citrusy/herbaly hop aroma, slightly Weizen-ish. Taste is a bit boring, not much malt character, very unusual bitternes. Very nice head retention and just the right amount of CO2. For my taste way to watery and boring. I’m suspecting an off batch and i’ll try it again on tap at the pub.

Rastacouere (6174) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 11, 2007
Cloudy dark golden lager with actual sediments in it. The smell is indeed a bit yeasty, but coming mostly bready which works quite well with the soft malts that display similar characteristics. Strawy, rather crisp, sweetish malts are tamed by a nicely slicing flowery bitterness. Strange with the yeast, but more than acceptable and one of the most pronounced hop bitterness in Slovenia I presume.

Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 31, 2004
Hazy pale amber brew with an aroma of bubblegum and peardrops, almost like a wheat beer! The flavour is fairly malty and continues with the strange wheaty flavour. The finish is sweetish and short with some saaz-y perfumed hops. (sampled on draught in the brewpub)
