Phenolic, estery, fruity nose. Drinks like an imperial blonde or Belgian pale ale. Banana, peardrop, bubblegum, pepper. Sort of sticky, sweet flavor, a little heavy in flavor and overpowering the tongue. Slightly hot. A little bitter, lemon pith at the finish.

750ml bottle. Golden pour, spice notes, hint of oak, doesnít seem as prominent. An okay at best tripel.

Appearance: Pours a hazed, pale orange-gold body with a wispy, whitish head. Decent residual lacing. Smell: Sweet-scented, lightly toasted maltiness dusted with earthy, yeasty notes of cumin and cloves with fruity scents smelling of banana, peach, pear and even some orange. Minor oak. Spritz of alcohol. Taste: Honeyish, toffee-like maltiness, its initial sweetness is quickly mollified by the undercurrent of phenolic spiciness and warming alcoholic qualities. Sliced banana, cracked cloves. Orchard fruitiness but thereís also a tangy citrusy orange vibe to it. The imparted oakiness remains light and lightly tannic. Finishes with a bit of heat. Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium-plus carbonation. An overall plush mouthfeel. Overall: A fairly enjoyable tripel.

This version was pretty good but not too unique or exotic. Aromas of Belgian yeast, straw and oak. Maybe a little alcohol as well. Dark golden color common among many of the style. Full but not too weighty palate with strong carbonation. Sweetness that came for the oak followed by earthy grains and finished with peppery spice from the yeast. Well-crafted.

Yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has some orange and yeast notes with not too much else. The flavor is similar with a lot of oak up front, as well as some yeast and orange citrus notes. All that being said, the flavor and aroma are fairly bland with not too much else going on. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Gold pour, white head. Nose is heavy yeast, dried fruits, wood, and sweet. Lively on the palate, super sweet, vanilla, dried fruits, yeast, and a spicy finish.
