Pours a cloudy orange color with a tall white head. Those nose has a pronounced spiciness to it, mostly clove and coriander, with a bit of white pepper. Some pears, apples, and banana give some fruitiness. Lots of sugary sweetness, too. The flavor is quite sweet and sugary with a hint of banana, apple, and pear. A light peppery quality, some spice, and bready malt. A little disjointed/all over the place, but not bad. bhensonb (15489) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 18, 2014
750 c&c from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma is spicy, grassy, citrus, earthy. Tickles the nostrils. Med body or better. Hits like a tripel, but ... Hmm.... It’s a spicy, earthy tripel sort of thing. It’s Belgian allover. I’m not sure this fits the alleged style, but it’s very tasty stuff. Finishing like Grains of Paradise. And a sort of apple fruit ester. This is very unusual? Good tho! bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - OCT 23, 2012
(750ml bottle) Pours a clear yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of coriander, spoiled fruit, florals, and kale. Flavor of herbs, grass, chlorine, yeast, and spices. deyholla (11900) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a fluffy white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has notes of grass and sweet grains with a bit of light fruit underlying. Flavor is more sweet grains and sweet light fruit with some belgian spice and a hint of grass. onceblind (10057) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 17, 2013
Hazy amber with a thin foamy white head. The aroma is a bit faint but smells like dry caramel malt and light doughy esters. The flavor is estery and mild with some pale sweet amberish malts and a light leafy flavor and bitterness, with a light eccentric estery finish. A bit plain but not bad.

Bottle:   Batch 001, Bottle #1748.   Dark straw, thick and hazy, large sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Somewhat of a medicinal floral nose, a little barnish, musty, with some yeasty/bready notes.   That medicinal floral aspect comes out more on the tongue.   Slightly soapy, remains a bit barnish, musty as well as yeasty/bready.   Not as nice as the nose suggested.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Soft finish, remains bready/yeasty.   Tiz okay, spiciness comes out after the finish, but its muted... maybe a little corriander like spices.   Thanks for the chance at this brewery Bill! mansquito (6695) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JAN 14, 2014
I actually forgot where this one came from as my Texas trip was just going from beer store to beer store. Anyway, it pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is slight saison funk, dry hops, some herbalness. Taste is similar. Slightly bitter and sufficiently hopped saison with citrus and spice notes. While I don’t think that it is anything that special, I think that the rating it has here is somewhat too low.
