This blonde ale has a subtle honey nose with hints of earthy hops. Subtle and lightly sweet at the start, this ale finishes dry with subtle spice notes. Its smoothness makes it ideal for drinking with a variety of foods. From lighter seafood dishes to spicy Thai food to robust cheeses; this is your beer!

Bottle. Pours a cloudy hay-colored yellow. Small head. Yeasty, soapy nose with unripe bananas and clove. Very prickly mouth feel....drying body and finish. Soapy taste, some metallic flavors....astringent finish. Meh.

A standard Belgian ale but better than the average ratings indicate. A faint Belgian yeast aroma. The color looked golden and clear and almost like a pilsner. The palate was full and weighty with a degree of smoothness that I liked. Pale malt sweetness with some spice and a strong Belgian character. Decent beer.

Poured a hazy medium yellow with a whispy head with nice lacing. Nose was soft malt. Across the tongue their is a slight spice. I saw a lot of sub par ratings, but I didn’t find this bad at all.

tap. Golden with one finger head. Light body with mild hops and very light belgian spice. Could use some more flavor, but is easy drinking.

Bottle. Hazy golden/orange with a medium white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast and pears. Light body and very carbonated with a mild sweetness upfront and a spicy finish.

Gold in colt with a small white head. Aroma is tart, carrots, funky. Taste is styrofoam, light tart, definitely infected.

travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Tap at jack macs. The look is clear, thin dissipating white head, and golden in color. The smell is dry, Brett, funky, fruit, infected. The taste is earth, musty, dry, Brett. Something turned in this beer. Not horrible but not good.

Bottle: Batch 5, Bottle 1998.   Way overcarbonated, gushes and gushes.   Orangish straw, dull and thick, spritzy head, dies quickly, no lacing.   Somewhat of a musty/dusty and basement like nose, but also a little medicinal or synthetic herbal notes.   Smells a little like plastic leaves you would find on your christmas wreath... yeah, a little of that.   Flat on the tongue, yeasty, bready, with a musty/dusty background.   Body and moutfheel are moderate.   Finishes very much yeasty/bready in the musty/dusty sense, but also some candle wax and fake tree leave as well.   Not too happy about the over carbonation either.   Not bad, but the off aromas/flavors make it a little hard to finish by ones self.   Thanks for the bottle Bill!

Back up the cork comes out by itself. Aroma of belgian yeast and spices with cloudy golden color and fluffy 2 finger white head. Taste sweet and fruity with light Coriander spice and tons of carbonation. Pretty good belgian blonde with nice flavor and spices, I could drink a few very easy.

Cloudy; but its a wheat beer. First beer from here assigns I hope they all aren’t this carbonated. I opeded the twist top and the cork flew out on its own. I didn’t get a chance to take the twist off. Wheat beers are tough to rate for me because although I like them, they ate just too bland to say much about. But maybe that’s just this one. Just too carbonated to enjoy :/

faroeviking (10913) - FAROE ISLANDS - SEP 13, 2012
botella. hazy yellow. fruity sweet spice citrus aroma. Flavour is sweet, has yeast and fruit with some citrus, spice like, strange.
