3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared with Pete and Gail. Goblet. Pours a slightly hazy, champagne looking beer with thick white and foamy head. Some lacing. Aroma of apples, pears, Belgian yeasts and straw. Taste is fruity, slight caramel malts for the sweetness, straw, cereal and some metal. Very VERY dry, carbonated finish. Too dry in my opinion. You do get the hop profile as it turns a little bitter on the finish. Not my favorite Tripel.
Almost no head, clear copper-orange beer. Orange, coriander, bit liqueurish , smell, ’hot’, strong hinting at alcohol and rich syrup. Liqueurish taste, alcohol sweetness, just a touch of coriander. Very slick - oily bit of alcoholheat. Arch-typical USA interpretation of Be beer. In itself not bad, quite OK. Thanks to Stefaan!

Decent straw and spicy yeast nose. Golden color with a frothy head. Hints of clove and fruit with a slight alcohol bite. Medium and crisp. cobaink2 (737) - seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 8, 2017
Bottle from tavour. Lots of banana flavor that’s typical for triples. Quite surprised that after about a year that this didnt suffer much with age. Nice. theisti (4156) - Kansas, USA - JUL 1, 2016
4 oz draft goblet taster at Lone Star Taps & Caps in Lewisville, Texas. The pour is a clear golden yellow with not much of a white head. The aroma is sweet floral, herbal yeast and a big full traditional Tripel nose. The taste is sweet, floral hay and the clove herbal Tripel yeast. The palate is medium to heavy bodied with soft to low carbonation and the yeast in the alcohol warming finish. This is a well made Tripel. WVHouseofBeer (1073) - West Virginia, USA - MAY 28, 2016
Pours a very hazy golden color with a frothy white head. Light aromas of candied sugar, some fruit and light alcohol. I definitely picked up some pear in the flavor along with some grass/hay. A fairly light body, especially for a Tripel. Overall it’s satisfactory but nothing special.

Tap at Brass Tap, Fort Worth. Pours pretty light yellow, not too good looking. Like poorly hydrated urine. Aroma is fairly standard tripel, but a it mild mild, lemon, clove, definitely some nice Ester sugars, not too complex but not bad either. Flavor is hmm, I mean, it’s kind of what a Belgian tripel is, but very mold and very sweet. It’s a bit too sweet for me. Clove, sugar, lots of sugar and esters. It’s fine but nothing exceptional. stevoj (5357) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 10, 2016
On tap at Zax. Grainy, buttery, sweet aroma. Texture and body a bit light. Mildly sweet, floral flavors, not bad for an American version. Almost there.... RedSox2004 (1928) - Pacific Palisades, California, USA - AUG 29, 2015
Hazy golden orange with a white foamy three-finger with modest lace. Aromas of citrus, banana, medicinal herb, pepper and Belgian yeast. Taste is dark fruit sweetness accompanied by ripe banana, toasted malt, earthy hop, pepper and alcohol. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfell, big carbonation and a sticky sweet and peppery finish. nuplastikk (6358) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 4, 2015
750ml bottle. Unfiltered orange-copper body. Sweet and rich. The bottle is over two years old and holds up well. Nice effervescent carbonation still. Nutty banana breadfruit candi sugar covered sweetness. This is a really solid Tripel.
