COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Black bears can weigh 600lbs, sprint over 25mph and climb like a squirrel. They have terrible eyesight, yet can smell you 20 miles away especially if your packing fruity gorp and apples. Hey, to a bear, you’re just like a 180lb fruit bowl coming down the trail! Bear Naked Ale is an all natural medium-bodied amber ale with a brilliant copper hue. Top fermenting ale yeast and a high proportion of imported Munich malt create a clean and crisp beer with a toasty, fruity backbone. Don’t get caught with your pants down, drink responsibly.

12 oz bottle Gift from AOPD The ale poured a clear reddish amber with a small off white head that quickly dissipated. There is clearly bready notes on the nose. The taste of sweet bread and malty. The amber ale has a medium body with soft carbonation. The finish was sweet with no bitterness. A drinkable amber but just average.

Unsatisfying and bland beverage with little of the maltiness associated with the style. Some sour fruits and a whole lot of water.

I’m a beer connoisseur from Berlin, Germany, I love beer. The Adirondacks Bear Naked Ale draft is the tastiest beer I’ve ever had in Americs and the one I look for and recommend when in the Lake George, NY region. A MUST TRY!

Bottle. Apple, caramel malt and hay aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet light apple toffee malt and moderately bitter metallic hay flavor. Light body. Pretty good.

Bottle: Cloudy, light brown-orange with a small, off-white head. Grain malt and caramel aroma. Taste is slightly tangy, fruit and grain. Caramel malt....citrus. Slight herbal hopping. Not bad, but nothing outstanding.

Pour from a 12oz bottle, BOM club. Nice copper colored brew but virtually no head. Aroma is crisp green fruit and a cheesy lactic. Taste follows. aroma. OK but no standout.

On draft at Adirondack. Again, the waitress did funny things labeling my sampler, but the one labeled Bear Naked poured clear yellow with a white head. Nose is some sweet malt, some floral hops, some toast, and some fruity yeast. Flavor is similar with some mild floral hops and sweet yeast in the background. Light to medium in body with lingering toast and yeast in the finish.
