FinnIckler (791) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 16, 2017
Bottle from maruhn. This is a bit old, but it shouldn’t matter for a Kellerbier. Nose is grainy, honey. Palate is just a tad watery, citrus, bread. Decent Mariusz (12095) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - MAY 8, 2015
Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain, malts and yeast. TAR (2781) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - JUN 13, 2014
Fresh bottle at the brewery, best by Oct. 2013, consumed in May. 2013: Pale blonde. Fluffy nonuniform white head gradually disperses. Mild notes of sugar-glazed lemon zest, sulfury phenolics, peppery alcohol and a hint of husky popcorn maltiness comprise the subdued aroma. Soft, effervescent mouthfeel. Grassy bitterness paves the way for a sweetish candied lemon peel dimension. Lifeless pils malt ensues with a papery dullness. Little in the way of malt vibrancy or definition. Splash of juicy hops somewhat salvages the curiously muted flavor profile as it matches the rich candyish yeastiness. Finishes spicy in its bitterness yet continuously hushed, with fleeting grassiness merging with mild hay dust. No discernible defects or anything, aside from some slight huskiness, but there’s really nothing compelling here. Meh, another ho-hum lager from Adler Bräu Stettfeld. bottle at the brewery in Stettfeld. best by 09.10.12. almost-clear gold effervescent body with a large-bubbled white head with decent retention.
very, very faint malt and hop aroma, and a strong mineral character makes it come across very literally like mineral water. has some faint white bread malt notes and subtle lemon and dried grass hop aroma. high carbonation also resembles mineral water. lemon oil hop flavor; medium to low bitterness; light dish soap esters; ample calcium carbonation; bracing combination of high effervescence and malt roughness. off-dry with medium bitterness. no overt off note, just very, very plain and near-flavorless.

50cl bottle, flip-top. Bbe 11/2012. Hazy light golden with a thick, creamy white head. Aroma has grass, grain and yeasty notes. Flavor has light citrusy notes, yeast, grass, light hoppy bitterness. Bottled 50cl. Clear, slightly hazy golden. A huge amount of pear in the nose. Good bitterness. Lovely hop profile. Medium bodied. Biscuity pale malts. Average carbonation. Some lacework. Dry finish which is reminiscent of earthy spicy hops. Nice and flawless.
