This is one beer where the odd, Belgian-like yeast characteristics worked well. Reminded me more of a belgien wit than a german hefe. The body, however, wasn’t particularily great. JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - MAR 12, 2003
Hazy golden color with a tall, lasting cream colored head. Very citrus and belgium yeast aroma. sprity feel from the start. Citric sourness start with a rich malt finish. All the rews from this brewery seem to have a real house yeast charater that makes every style unique. This is more of an belgium ale than a bavarian style wheat beer.
