Bottled. Dark reddish brown, beige huge creamy head. Sweet caramellish malty aroma with a bit bitterness too. Strong bitter hoppy flavour along with malty hints. Bitterness dominating all the way through Biting carbonation. omhper (25095) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - FEB 26, 2004
Bottled. Deep ruby, clear, rich but quickly vanishing head. Aroma of malt and blueberries(!). Fruity and bold. Raisin, dates and licorice are prominent. Salty and rich, but with clean, simple malt profile. Warming peppery finish with lingering grassy hop bitterness. Packed with flavour, but points are deducted for it's plain malt profile. (Bottle 50 cl) Hazy reddish amber with an off-white head. Aroma of nuts and overripe fruit. Quite full-bodied with sweetish roasted malts, nuts and overripe fruit. Hints of wood and alcohol and a fairly bitter finish. Actually this mostly reminds me of a British style Old Ale. 290908 madmitch76 (24789) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 6, 2011
