Cask at clerkenwell spoons. Clear golden / light orange coloured pour with a creamy beige head. Aroma is fairly nice hedgerow berry hop with hints on citrus, and mango. Some semi sweet grains on the nose. Palate is smooth and slightly creamy, decent condition. Flavour is semi sweet slightly nutty base grains, berry hop, hints of tangy apple and grass. Good beer. Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear deep golden colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of peach, orange, grapefruit, maybe lemon, some pale malts and subtle spicy, floral hops. Taste of peach, orange, some grapefruit, some sponge cake, slight bready malts and subtle spicy, floral hops. Light bodied and an oily texture. A sweetish, soft citrus and floral hop bitterness in the finish. A fruity, citrusy golden ale, a little sweet with only a subtle floral hop bitterness but it quite sessionable. Decent. Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 26 May 2012. Poured a clear, light golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of grapefruit, straw and spicy hop.
