Clear golden orange with a well appointed white cap that retains well, full glass lacing ensues.
Nose is airy malt, orange peel, bread dough, grain.
Taste comprises apricot jam, straw, light bread, grassy, orange, toasted malt.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a grassy bitter linger.

Crosse Keys Spoons. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, bubbly white head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Nice condition. Smooth sweetish malts. Light floralness. A nice peachy mellow orange. Light finish brings a trace of esters. Pretty drinkable.

Matthew Hall, Walsall. Golden amber beer with small head and patchy lacing. Aroma Is fruity and malts. Taste is tangerine, malts and citrus. Good stuff.

Appearance - golden with a nice head.
Nose - lemon, grassy biscuit backdrop.
Taste - more of the same.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish.

Cask, The Last Plantagenet, Leicester. Hazy golden with an off white head. Mixed stewed autumn fruits with biscuity malts. Peppery and leafy with traces of glue. Grassy with minerals and yeast. Cask at the Montague Pyke. Or pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, toasty grainy, cereal, biscuit, bread, apple and a touch of toffee. The taste is bitter, toasty grain, spice, earth, cereal, wood, leather and a touch of pithy lemon. Finish is firm a dry. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. light copper colour thick white head;
nose is little grain not much else
taste is sweetish with hardly any hop very poor beer
Shame a long time ago this was a great beer,was my favourite Adnams beer,now its very bland
Cask at the foot of the walk. Pours clear golden, nose is toffee, light citrus, taste is sweet, bitter fruit, something odd.
