COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ghost Ship is a ghostly pale ale which takes its inspiration from Adnams 600-year-old haunted pub, The Bell. Brewed with a selection of malts - Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara. We use Citra, and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours. Bronze Medal Winner at The International Brewing Awards 2013, Silver Medal winner at the 2014 International Beer Challenge and Gold Medal Winner at The Indie Beer Can Awards 2014 (Contains barley & rye). Available (pasteurised) in 500ml bottles and 440ml cans.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit flavor with light malt. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and light malt linger.

Orange-brown beer, luminous, weak white head, nice bubbliness, beautiful! Smell is kiwi mango citrus - typical citra - resin, hint of caramel, very nice. Taste is bitter watery, crisp and fresh with a sticky astringent finish.

Pretty average in most respects. Flowery hops predominantly, not entirely pleasant fluffy mouth feel. Ok but unremarkable.

Good honest British pale ale. Forgot it if you are a hop-head but if you want the taste where it all began, try this. Good session ale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From Elcervecero. In Ikea’s pint glass. Playing Pillars of Eternity. Very mineral, with citrusy notes to lime and lemon, a light body and a well adjusted bitterness level. Sessionable but lacking taste and body

500 ml bottle. Colour is golden Amber. The smell is citrusy and Hoppy, it reminds me of a fruit yoghurt, peach yoghurt may be. Taste is quite citrusy, the taste dies off quite quickly and leaves you with a malty after taste. An okay bottle but not sure I’d necessarily rush back to it.
